According to my letterboxd the number of films seen in February are low for me. The total number is 5 which is kind of disappointing. But I think February has been a month of tv shows rather than films instead.
The movies I saw:
-Uncut Gems 3/5
-Atomic Blonde 4/5
-The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 3/5
-Begin Again 3.5/5
-To All the Boys I've loved Before, P.S I love you 2.5/5
A strange kind of mix I must say now that I am looking at it. I particularly enjoyed Atomic Blonde and the setting of 1940s Berlin. It's very gritty and violent but Charlize Theron is awesome as Lorraine and the fact that she is also queer made the storyline much more interesting! Uncut Gems was a ride that's for sure. An extremely stressful film but probably a career best for Adam Sandler. It was a long time since I was so unsettled by a film like I was with this. To all the boys was unfortunately a big disappointment. I love the first film, it is my go to guilty pleasure film and it makes me feel good when I watch it. This one felt flat and boring and didn't have that cozy feeling like the first one had. Also I feel so bad for Peter in it....like... and I didn't like that's how it made me feel. Begin again and The secret life of Walter Mitty was honestly two random choices that I watched, but none the less pretty solid both of them!
